Rajiv Gandhi Education Society is a premier non profit making Educational Organization functioning under the president ship of Shri G.S. Patil, Ex-MLA of Ron. The society was Registered under the Society’s Registration Act (Registration No: 64/ 92-93). The society has under its wings more than seven Educational Institutions imparting quality Education right from primary level to degree level which includes among others a college of Ayurvedic Medicine and Hospital, B.Ed, B.P. Ed., D.Ed, ITI, High school for girls’, primary and pre-primary schools, PUC Science and Arts College at Ron.

The origin of Ayurveda dates back to the Pre-Vedic era. The term Ayurveda means ‘science of life’ It deals elaborately with measures of healthy living during various phases of the life span of individuals. Besides dealing with principles of maintenance of health, it also develops a wide range of therapeutic measures to combat illness. These principles of positive health and therapeutic measures relate to physical, mental, social and spiritual welfare of human beings. Thus Ayurveda is considered to be the oldest system of health case dealing with both the preventive and curative aspects of life in the most comprehensive way.
